To Speak at Council or Committee

Clarington Council or Clarington General Purpose and Administration Committee meetings:
The General Purpose & Administration Committee meetings are generally held on the opposite Mondays to Council Meetings. These meetings are held in Council Chambers (2nd floor, Municipal Administrative Centre) at 9:30 AM. The Committee deals with the majority of staff reports and mandatory public meetings (as required by the Planning Act). Committee meetings include the Mayor and Councillors, as well as Department Directors.
Council meetings are held at 7 p.m., Council Chambers, Municipal Administrative Centre, 40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville, ON (public welcome) These are held every other Monday, while GPA (see below) meetings are on the in-between Mondays.
DELEGATIONS
Members of the public who wish to speak to the GPA Committee or Council are referred to as "delegations". Each delegation has
10 minutes to speak.
To be a delegation you must register with the Municipal Clerk's Department by 4:15 pm on the Friday preceding the meeting. You may register by:

Note, meeting agendas are published as of noon on the Wednesday preceding the meeting. Delegation requests received after the agenda is published but before 4:30 PM on the Friday preceding the meeting will be added to the Agenda at the meeting.

Durham Regional Council & Committees Council: 10:00 a.m, Council Chambers, Administration Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby, Ontario. (see noticeboard for dates)
Committees: see noticeboard for dates/times. Standing committees generally meet at 9:30 a.m. with the exception of Works Committee, which meets at 10 a.m.
